Why Filter Bag Material Matters ？ Selecting the correct filter bag material is critical for durability, filtration efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The wrong choice can lead to premature failure, downtime, or safety risks. Below, we break down key materials used in industrial filtration.
1. Nylon (Polyamide)
Pros:
Excellent abrasion resistance for slurries with abrasive particles. Good oil resistance (ideal for lubricant filtration).
Cons:Poor resistance to strong acids/bases. Limited filtration precision (5-10 microns). Absorbs moisture (up to 4% in 80% RH), causing pore blockage in humid systems.
2. Polyester (PET)
